Located in Katzenthal, the centre of Alsatian wine region, the Klur estate has been following the way of biological cultivation, ecology and biodynamic practices since 1999. The characteristic of Katzenthal is the 500 million years old geological crevasse. Grapes for the Cuvée Meow are largely coming from 40 years old Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois Blanc planted by the father of present winemaker Clemant Klur on a plot with sandy and alluvial soil.
